IDA Partners with Galveston Bay Foundation Oct 19 & 20 2024 Bike Around the Bay IDA is a sponsor for this event, which will help support the preservation of Galveston Bay.
IDA Lifetime & Annual membership will provide complimentary cyclist registrations for 2024 ride. Over the past few years, we've observed a troubling trend of declining wellness among healthcare workers. In response, our members chose to invest in Bike Around the Bay in 2021, showcasing their dedication to physician wellness and contributing to local conservation efforts. Through IDA’s partnership with the Galveston Bay Foundation, we aim to make a meaningful impact across six key program areas: education, habitat restoration, land conservation, water protection, advocacy, and research around Galveston Bay. This collaboration not only seeks to safeguard the Bay but also to foster unity among us all in pursuit of a shared goal. There are multiple opportunities to take part in this year’s event - no matter your cycling experience level.
